Chaplet of the Holy Face

We know that there are many sites which offer different versions of the Holy Face Chaplet. We pray the version that was taught to us and handed down through the generations by the Archconfraternity in Tours, France.

The Gospel of the Holy Name or “The Little Sachet”
​
This is a little card on which is printed:
-
the short Gospel of the Circumcision which mentions the giving of the Name of “Jesus” to our Savior;
-
a picture of the Child Jesus;
-
the initials of His Sacred Name;
-
some invocations intended to inspire confidence together with the lines, “When Jesus was named, Satan was disarmed.”
Little Scapular of the Holy Face
​
To be worn in a spirit of faith and of reparation. It consists of two pieces of white flannel connected by two cords of braid. Upon one piece is attached a small copy of the Holy Face as on the Veil of St. Veronica, on the other the title which the Roman governor wrote over the Cross.
